Analisis

Marge, Homero, Lisa y Maggie Caminan por enfrente de una cartel que Dice: "Fourth Grade Dance Recital, Tonight 7:30" (recital de danzas del cuarto año, esta noche 7.30 hs) En donde se encuentran tres chicos raperos. Una vez dentro de la sala, la familia toma asiento. Lisa no se ve muy feliz de estar alli.
De repente se ve la cabeza de Bart asomando sobre el telon. Primero se ve su cabeza, un brazo y una pierna. Vemos que en realidad los que estan sostenienolo son Richard y Milhouse.

Bart:	Come on, man! I can't wait! I love an audience!
Milhouse:	Ugh! I'm hurting, Bart!

Un brazo vestido de verde, toma a bart del hombro y lo aparta de los demás niños.

Krabappel:	Bart!
Krabappel:	Don't worry, Bart. I'll tell your parents you took part.

Luego se va. Bart suspira. La cortina se abre, el público aplaude y se escucha la voz del Director Skinner.

Skinner:	Now, a group that needs no introduction: Your children.

se comienza a escuchar un tema musical bastante idiota y los niños empiezan a moverse de izquierda a derecha y luego de atras hacia adelante. Bart conecta su Walkman al Equipo de sonido de la sala y se apodera del Espectaculo. Los chicos que estan en el escenario se miran unos a otros cuando un nuevo tema comienza a sonar. Krabappel les indica por gestos que sigan bailando al ritmo de la musica que suena. Bart se abre paso por entre el grupo de estudiantes que baila en el escenario. Alza su puño en el Aire

Bart:	Yo!

Entonces repentina mente sale de entre el grupo.

Bart:	Hey, what's happening, dude? I'm the guy with the rep for being rude. Terrorizing people wherever I go, It's not intentional, just keepin' the flow. Fixin' test scores to get the best scores.

Bart se quita el saco y luego de agitarlo, lo arroja lejos, dándole en la cara al Director Skinner que está entre los bastidores.

Bart:	Droppin' bananna peels all over the floor, I'm the kid who made delinquincy an art! Last name: Simpson. First name: Bart.

El Director Skinner abre un cajon de un archivador y extrae la ficha de Bart.

Bart:	I'm here today to introduce the next phase -the next step in the big Bart craze- I got a new dance, real easy to do, I learned it with no rhythm and so can you. Ooh!

Skinner intenta atrapar a Bart con un palo acabado en un gancho, pero falla. La señorita Krabappel mueve el puño en gesto de desagrado.

Bart:	So move your body, if you got the notion, Front to back in a rock-like motion! Now that you got it if you think you can, Do it to the music - that's the Bartman.
Estudiante, Martin y Milhouse :	Everybody if you can, do the Bartman!
Bart:	Whoa!
Estudiante, Martin y Milhouse :	Shake your body turn it out, if you can, man!

El publico comienza a moverse al ritmo de a musica. Los Simpson, expectantes, miran a los demás.

Estudiante, Martin y Milhouse :	Put your back to the side if you can can!
Bart:	Bartman!
Estudiante, Martin y Milhouse :	Everybody in the house do the Bartman!
Bart:	Uh huh.
Estudiante, Martin y Milhouse :	Everybody if you can, do the Bartman! Shake your body turn it out, if you can, man!
Bart:	Whoaaaa mama!

Bart poniendose al frente de sus compañeros, los conduce fuera de la escuela.

Estudiante, Martin y Milhouse :	Put your back to the side as you can can!
Bart:	Whoa!
Estudiante, Martin y Milhouse :	Everybody in the house do the Bartman!
Bart:	It wasn't long ago: just a couple of weeks,

Bart aparece de pie en el Rincon de una habitacion vacia y sin color.

Bart:	I got in trouble - yeah, pretty deep! Homer was yellin'

Las gigantescas sombras de Homero y Marge amenazan a Bart.

Homero :	Bart!
Bart:	Mom was too, Because I put mothballs in the beef stew.

Homero Prueba un poco de guisado, mientras Marge lo mira, Homero lo escupe hacia la cámara, con cara de asco. Cambiamos de plano a Bart que posa para una foto de la policía.

Bart:	Punishment time - in the air lurks gloom,

Bart camina por el pasillo hacia su habitacion. Cuando está dentro, cae una reja tras él encerrandolo. Yace sobre su cama, con aspecto abatido.

Bart:	Sittin' by myself confined to my room. When all else fails, nothin' else left to do, I turn on the music so I can feel the groove!

Bart:	Whoa! Lisa! Ha!

Bart salta sobre la cama. Lisa se une y bailan juntos.

Bart:	Ha ha ha!

Bart:	Ha ha ha! Check it out, man!
Cantantes en Off :	You might just start a chain reaction!

Bart se resbala, y se cae, rompiendo una rama y cayendo sobre otra. Cuando se incorpora, lleva un rizo a lo Michael Jackson.

Bart aterriza sobre en un callejón de la ciudad.

En una calle, Bart se pone al frente de un coro de bailarines y ejecutan una complicada coreografia. Homero aparece por una cloaca, llevando la alcantarilla como sombrero.

Homero:	Turn it down! Will you stop that infernal racket!

Se encienden todas la luces de vecindario y la gente le dice…

Lisa está tocando en un Puente un solo con el saxo, Bart se tapa los oidos.

Bart:	Oh, my ears! Lisa! Put that saxophone away! Ya can't touch this!

Bart abre la puerta trasera de un camión de la perrera de Springfield, y salen todos los perros corriendo.

Bart:	I-didn't-do-it-nobody-saw-me-do-it-you-can't -prove-anything! Oop!

Ahora bart comienza a bailar nuevamente con los chicos bailarines que estaba antes.

Bart:	Now I'm in the house feelin' good to be home! 'Till Lisa starts blowin' that damn saxophone! And if it was mine, you know they'd take itaway, But still I'm feelin' good, so that's okay! I'm up in my room, just a-singin' a song, Listenin' to the kick-drum kickin' along. Yeah, Lisa likes jazz, she's her number one fan, I know I'm bad, 'cause I do the Bartman!

De repente la remera y el pantaloon corto de Bart se convierte en el traje azul, y es sacado por la señorita Krabappel y otra vez ubicado en el escenario donde el resto de los niños bailan una musica lenta

Bart:	Oh Wow man!
